Kids react to old computers

  1. Cute – but, um, “how do you turn this thing on?”, “what’s this?”, are pretty much how I react to new computers…

  2. I had a similar reaction the first time I used a Mac II. Power button is… on the keyboard?!? Where’s the big switch on the right side at the back? I LIKE having to give my computer a hug to turn it on.

Now I’m looking around my cubicle and realizing that I literally don’t have any desk space deep enough to set up an old IBM PC – but there’s plenty of room for the monitor, keyboard, and laptop dock.

  1. I would say unbelievable, but sadly it is not. It is a testament to the dumbed down populations that few buyers will catch the irony and hypocrisy.

  2. Irony deficiency can be fatal.

  3. And now, direct from the Department of Irony Department! 🙂

  4. I think that was the Department Of Redundancy Department. Irony is something else entirely.

  5. You definitely shouldn’t drink phosphate-containing carbonated beverages with your irony supplements!
